[Sunday Comics & Toons 001]

Its a fair enough collab.

Most of the C/Ts were fairly well-done. I especially liked MephistonX's. However fragmonkey's was wayyy too slow. The rest of the flashes were fine and dandy.

Preloader, Intro Movie, & Menu:
Could use a better preloader. Kinda simple considering the concept for the flash. The intro movie had a nice touch but its sound was awfully scratchy. At the menu, I'd like to see author's names with the C&T titles. I liked the buttons. =)

Looking forward to the next Sunday C&T!

Thanks for the review. MephistonX's was the headliner fo rthe week. He put a lot of work into it.

The preloader is something that will be updated in the future, though. We already have that planned. As for the scratchy sound in the into, that was due to a very OLD recording from the "Muppets" critics Statler and Waldorph. It's hard not to use their recordings. I love those guys.

I am still thinking about the buttons. The author's names are in the Flashes themselves and if more artists get onboard the buttons will get smaller to allow room.

The next Sunday C&T is already in the works, my friend!

This movie makes me wanna go out, get some pizza, eat it, regurgitate it, eat it again, and drink Pepsi mixed with cough syrup. I have no idea whether that's a good or bad thing.

Meh.

Graphics: I'll admit that the animation was fairly well done. However, the drawings of everything but the lightsabers were just plain bad. Try to use figures with at least arms and legs. The background wasn't done very well either.

Style: Random fight, nothing new at all.

Sound: Good syncing/timing with the sound effects.

Full-figures next time please.

That seemed like a very long 3 minutes. Maybe its the mood I'm in, but it didn't seem very funny to me. Too slow with the jokes. Well, its still a good claymation.

Very borderline.

Graphics: There wasn't much to judge here, but most of it was drawn well. Not much animation.

Style: Borderline aggravating.

Sound: The voice was a fair imitation of Kayne West, nothing great.

Humour: Too many corny jokes. Thing I found most funny was the website at the end.

I can see that you are trying to go over-the-top with the racism jokes, that's what makes Dave Chapelle funny, but this didn't make it there.

Graphics: Not much animation/drawings, but the animation/drawings that there is looks great.

Style: OMG SO sytlistic! You should be a movie director or something. Glad to see some of these types of flashes making it onto Newgrounds.

Sound: That is great music. And the sound effects were good.

Can't wait to see what you have next in store for Newgrounds.

Nice little short.

Graphics: Good sprite animation. Even included clouds! Not something you see everyday.

Style: Nice little short - very to the point. Pretty original plot and good joke. But that's a waste of a Nintendo DS! You must not like the DS. ;)

Sound: Good sound effects.

Graphcis: Not very good except for those wings.

Style: Very original. Kinda doesn't make sense, though, how the blob spontanously thinks it can fly.

Sound: Could've used some sound effects, like the blob splattering on the ground.

Pretty good work. Keep up the orginality.

lol, people say i have original ideas on alot of my flashes. I made the graphics like that on purpose to represent the simple minds of the blobs. No sound FX cuz it would ruin the sadness feeling w/e kthxbai :D

Graphics: Sometimes the quality of the animation/drawings look pretty bad. Like the hair flowing in the wind. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Style: Awsome interpretation of the song.

Sound: Great song, with or without this flash.

Graphics: Very good graphics!

Style: Um, was this just a way to get hits to your website? Is that why it ends so abruptly? Don't submit uncompleted stuff. Not long enough to tell if it was really about.

Sound: Great voice acting.

Humour: Not long enough to tell if it was going to be funny.

I hope you decide to put the finished thing on here, instead of this movie. And if its good, which it probably will, then put the whole series on here.

Yes and no. I don't have ads on my site or anything, so I'm not concerned about hits, but I do want to get the fact that I have "starter" fla's available to the public. I just want to encourage people to do animation. This is one of those open-source .fla's.
